 OK. I’ve watched the nasty sniping at President Trump this week at the so-called John McCain memorial services. It is in my opinion pathetic how the swamp dwel- lers; Bush, Obama, Cindy McCain and the rest of the eulogizers showed Trump is living in their minds rent-free. Adding to that horror is how the establishment media fawned over them and not once mentioned that McCain started each of the fights with Trump and McCain tried to one-up Trump by dis-inviting the sitting president to his state funeral. McCain again punched first. He choreographed it from the grave and it showed how petty a little man he was in life. Even telling his media star daughter to show “justifiable” anger by cynically attacking Trump in her eulogy. How would anyone be able to respond to that? The answer is, you cannot without looking as petty as them, Trump did the right thing by not responding at all.
Trump is the outsider and objectively the bigger man. He, as President, decides if a senator gets a State Funeral. I am sure the family had their minions ask President Trump if he could have a State Funeral and Trump readily said yes. DJT knew he was told he could not attend and yet allowed the impish McCain to lie in State. It is funny (strange) how not one commentator mentioned the President’s discretion in all the hours of non-stop coverage. The original altercation between Trump and McCain started when McCain attacked Trump in 2015 after Trump announced his candidacy mentioning the illegal immigrants flooding into our country. McCain was piling on Trump with the rest of the establishment DC dwellers at a time when everyone, I mean EVERYONE, in the swamp thought Trump had zero chance of getting the nomination let alone winning the general election. Trump was asked about McCain’s statement and Trump spoke the truth nobody wanted to acknowledge and that is how McCain marketed himself as a “hero” for a noble alleged act to stay in the Hanoi prison camp after being offered an early release because of who his daddy was. I’ve never heard the details of how that worked exactly as to what the US would have had to give up to get precious Johnny out early or if it really did happen. We can assume it did unless we get more information. I find it interesting how he used his obeying protocol as a 40-year hero label. Politics is Hollywood for the ugly. Are you a hero because you choose the military as your job? McCain volunteered to a life in the naval academy, he chose to follow his grandfather and father. Is every soldier a hero? What is the definition of hero, if that is the case? Webster defines hero, a : a mythological or legendary figure often of divine descent endowed with great strength or ability b : an illustrious warrior c : a person admired for achievements and noble qualities d : one who shows great courage McCain is not a legendary figure of great strength or ability nor is he an illustrious warrior. He could be defined as being admired for his noble quality of surviving five years in a prison camp but are we considering that admirable or noble because he survived? Isn’t that what anyone would have done? We don’t admire someone for doing what anyone would have done. The last one, showing great courage is definitely heroic in this case except knowing that McCain did not show great courage in submitting to the North Vietnamese demands to make anti-American propaganda statements (more than 40) and giving them information about flights resulting in speculation of more than 60 downed American aircraft. In 2008 the North Vietnamese guard, Nguyen Tien, admitted that prison conditions were tough but McCain suffered injuries from his crash, not torture at the hands of his guards. I’m sure he endured some torture from the guards at the beginning of his time as a POW but as other POWs stated, when the new regime came in when Ho Chi Minh died in September of 1969, the torture stopped and the conditions and nutrition improved because they realized the prisoners were a valuable commodity in the negotiations with the US. If you still think he was a hero at death because of what he endured in the five years (1967-73) in prison makes him a hero then what do we say about the following 45 years of his life? Most recently he was instrumental in framing a duly elected president with the Steele dossier that is a work of fiction and is being used to undo an election where McCain’s friends across the aisle lost. He spent tens of thousands of tax dollars to fly his aid to London to hand deliver it to the corrupt Comey FBI. Watching the msm coverage disparage Trump and honor McCain without a critical note of his negatives is clear Trump is winning and living rent-free in their heads. McCain and Bush hated each other, McCain is known to openly despise Bush, and Bush II gets a prime time slot to speak in honoring him and slipping in insults to President Trump. Obama labeled McCain a racist and spread rumors of McCain’s infidelity and yet he spoke at the memorial. Many questions about why Obama was a speaker after spreading lies about him during the 2008 campaign? I guess the fellow swamp creatures all come together to fight against the outsider DJT. But why was Ivanka and Jared at the service? The msm has the bully pulpit and they can spew what they want in the manner most favorable to their guy. I appreciate the majority of Americans can now see through their lying message and vote the way of the constitution and those who honor it. Men of principles like Trump when it comes to the country and laws. I wish John McCain’s soul speedy entry into the afterlife and pray for his family in all sincerity. It is a true shame they all had to behave so poorly at what was supposed to be a celebration of their loved-one’s life.
